Morgan Smith is a member of the firm's Bankruptcy group.  He has experience in corporate, real estate and bankruptcy law, as well as litigation.

In the corporate area, Mr. Smith has drafted a number of LLC agreements, both member- and manager-managed, assisted in the closing of a sale of corporate assets, assisted in a stock purchase for a software corporation, reviewed the charter of a corporation to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, drafted a commercial lending agreement, and researched director liability in a nonprofit corporation. His real estate experience includes assisting in several closings of commercial real estate property, drafting real estate sale agreements, and research on co-tenancy clauses in commercial shopping center leases. Mr. Smith also has assisted in Chapter 11 commercial bankruptcy work. His litigation experience includes e-discovery research, and the drafting of complaints and motions for summary judgment in landlord-tenant actions, RICO actions, CERCLA actions, and commercial contract disputes.
