In his litigation practice, Frank Schwerin represents a variety of business organizations, from computer software firms to banks, on issues ranging from dissolution of partnerships to contract disputes to lender liability claims. Mr. Schwerin also represents individuals, and has obtained a seven-figure personal injury verdict for a client in need.

Mr. Schwerin has a diverse litigation practice, ranging from the aforementioned personal injury victory to his successful defense of a securities brokerage firm against investors who alleged the firm withheld information and sold them unsuitable investments. His litigation and employment practices converge when he consults with clients regarding potential employee litigation or defends them in employment discrimination suits. He also reviews and drafts employment contracts, including nondisclosure and noncompete provisions, on his clients’ behalf.

Mr. Schwerin is the author of “Judges’ Advice to Lawyers,” a CBA Record article in which several highly-regarded state and federal judges directed comments on selected topics to trial lawyers.
