Seth Rosenberg concentrates his practice in the area of business litigation and dispute resolution.  He has experience representing clients in state and federal courts, with respect to matters ranging from enforcing restrictive covenants, landlord/tenant disputes, creditors’ rights, construction claims, closely held business disputes and intellectual property litigation.

A recent matter involved the representation of a client whose former employee accessed, without authorization, the email accounts of the company’s officers and senior managers in violation of the Electronic Communications Privacy Act.  The employer’s lawsuit was successful and led to a satisfactory resolution of all other outstanding issues stemming from the employment relationship.

Prior to joining Schwartz Cooper, Mr. Rosenberg completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Joan B. Gottschall of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Eastern Division.  Mr. Rosenberg also participates in the firm’s pro bono program, devoting time to representing indigents who could not otherwise afford legal counsel.
