Bob Nachman focuses his practice on the areas of bankruptcy and litigation, serving clients which include privately held businesses, large financial institutions, and individual entrepreneurs. Mr. Nachman’s bankruptcy practice is wide-ranging, representing both debtors and creditors, as well as creditors’ committees. In one significant case, he successfully reorganized a forklift company over the opposition of seven different lenders, each claiming an interest in the same collateral. Mr. Nachman’s experience working with debtors has been invaluable to his extensive work on behalf of banks, and his ability to understand both sides of a transaction often allows him to fashion a creative solution. His litigation practice generally concerns business disputes, including fraud and contract claims, as well as employment litigation. Mr. Nachman has spoken on numerous occasions on legal topics, most recently concerning the bankruptcy implications of real estate foreclosure and the impact of the revisions to the Bankruptcy Code. He also is a regular contributor to the International Asset Recovery Law blog.
