Laura Lipinski provides sophisticated estate and tax planning services to high net worth individuals, employing diverse techniques in drafting wills, trusts (revocable, irrevocable and charitable) and family limited partnerships. She represents both fiduciaries and beneficiaries in probate and trust administration and litigation.

Ms. Lipinski is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is knowledgeable in the legal issues facing the elderly and the disabled.  She serves as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem in adult guardianship cases and represents guardians of minors and disabled persons in court proceedings, and assists parents of disabled individuals in drafting special needs trusts.

Ms Lipinski also works on commercial real estate and asset acquisition/disposition and financing transactions, representing both financial institutions and business entities. 

Ms. Lipinski has presented a seminar entitled, “Advanced Issues in Probate for the Paralegal in Illinois” for the Institute for Paralegal Education. Topics included preparation of the federal fiduciary income tax return and identifying, analyzing and solving problems in estate administration. She also spoke on the subject “Special Needs Trusts” for disabled persons at the 2005 Illinois Spina Bifida Association Conference.  Ms. Lipinski is a member of the Plan Commission of the Village of Western Springs and serves on the Board of the Western Springs Foundation for Educational Excellence.  She also serves as the liaison between Schwartz Cooper management and the firm's paralegals.
