Robert Linton is head of Schwartz Cooper's Commercial Leasing & Property Management practice.  Mr. Linton serves clients in the real estate industry, providing counsel for their commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, real estate finance, development and condominium law. He also represents property owners around the country in sales, acquisitions and commercial leasing and property management issues.

Mr. Linton has handled hundreds of office, retail, and industrial lease transactions for landlords and tenants. He has also worked for pension funds, REITs, insurance companies, financial institutions, developers and other real estate companies on numerous multimillion dollar, multi-state sales and acquisitions around the country, including the ABN AMRO purchase of 135 S. LaSalle Street in Chicago for more than $100 million. In his national commercial real estate practice, Mr. Linton oversees purchase and sale transactions for real estate valued at $1 million to $100 million. He also represents clients such as McDonald's Corporation, helping them to fulfill their real estate needs, including property acquisitions and leasing, nationwide.

Mr. Linton has written about special lease clauses for medical tenants and spoken about telecommunications related-issues to members of the Building Owners and Managers Association and to property manager attendees at a national telecommunications conference.
