Schwartz Cooper Welcomes Summer Associate Class of 2007

Schwartz Cooper Chartered, a leading Chicago-based full service law firm, welcomes Amanda Bennett, Michelle Desnick, Michael Kim, Farzin Parang, Matthew Raczkowski, and Christopher Vaughn as the Summer Associate Class of 2007 .  

Ms. Bennett is expected to receive her J.D. from Northwestern University in 2008.  She received her B.S. from DePaul University in 2004.    

Ms. Desnick is expected to receive her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2008. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Wellesley College in 2005.  

Mr. Kim is expected to receive his J.D. in 2007 from DePaul University College of Law. He received his B.S. from Northwestern University in 2003.

Mr. Parang is expecting to receive his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 2008. He received his B.A. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2005.  

Mr. Raczkowski is expecting to receive his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law Urbana-Champaign in 2008. He received his B.S. from Indiana University- Kelly School of Business in 2005.  

Mr. Vaughn is expecting to receive his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law anticipates in 2009. He received his B.S. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2006.

Schwartz Cooper’s Summer Associate program provides law students with a view of life as an attorney at our firm, as well as an opportunity to develop the qualities needed to become a successful practitioner. While at Schwartz Cooper the Summer Associates will take part in projects that would typically be assigned to a first year Associate. Each Summer Associate will have the opportunity to work with two mentors: one Associate mentor and one Partner mentor. Each mentor will then guide them through a range of assignments in various practice areas. It is the firm’s goal that Summer Associates receive front-line experience, exposure to clients, and the opportunity for educational advancement.
