Schwartz Cooper Welcomes Three New AttorneysMay 21, 2007Schwartz Cooper Chartered, a leading Chicago-based full service law firm, is pleased to announce the addition of three new attorneys to the firm. Zisl Taub Edelson (Of Counsel Real Estate), Jennifer Zlotow (Associate, Litigation), and Brandi Van Leeuwen (Associate, Corporate) have joined the firm. Ms. Zlotow concentrates her practice in trial and appellate commercial litigation in state and federal courts. Ms. Zlotow’s experience includes representing clients in matters involving breach of contract, business torts, misappropriation of trade secrets, antitrust violations, and professional liability. She received her J.D. from Northwestern University in 2003 and her B.M. and B.A. from DePaul University in 1999. Ms. Zlotow joined the firm on March 19, 2007. Ms. Edelson concentrates her practice in commercial real estate law. She has experience with a wide range of complex matters, ranging from large commercial acquisitions, and financings, to condominium development and leasing work. Ms. Edelson received her J.D. and M.B.A. in 1987 from the University of Chicago Law School and School of Business and her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College in 1983. Ms. Edelson joined the firm on May 14, 2007. Ms. Van Leeuwen concentrates her practice in general corporate law. She has experience representing domestic and international clients, including public and private companies, large multinational corporations, and private equity companies. Ms. Van Leeuwen received her J.D. and M.B.A. from DePaul University in 2005 and her B.A. from Monmouth College in 2002. Ms. Van Leeuwen joined the firm on May 21, 2007.
