Post-Nuptial Agreements

Schwartz Cooper attorney Nancy Livingston appeared on WCIU-TV’s “First Business” for a segment on post-nuptial agreements.  According to Livingston,  post-nuptials can be useful for couples who wish to amend their pre-nuptial agreement, or couples who did not sign a pre-nuptial agreement but now wish to protect their assets.  She also mentions that post nuptials are commonly used “when an individual comes into money unexpectantly after they have married.”
