Schwartz Cooper Hires New Transactional Partner

Chicago — Schwartz, Cooper, Greenberger & Krauss is pleased to announce the addition of Stanton B. Miller to the firm’s Corporate, Business, Tax and Estate Planning and Intellectual Property/Information Technology practice groups.

Miller concentrates his practice in transactional law and counsels clients engaged in a wide variety of business enterprises.  He has significant experience in negotiating agreements in numerous business contexts, including contracts for construction of public and private facilities, licenses of copyrights in connection with the publication of books, audio books, multi-media and electronic works, and general business transactions including joint ventures, strategic alliances and start-ups.

Miller is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Copyright Society of the USA, the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago and the American Subcontractors’ Association. He also is a former Executive Director of the Law Firm Alliance, a confederation of 41 law firms consisting of approximately 2,500 lawyers throughout the United States.

Miller received his J.D. from the University of Illinois and an LL.M. in Taxation from the John Marshall School of Law.  Prior to joining Schwartz Cooper, he was a partner at Michael Best & Friedrich.
