2005 Boulevard Lakefront TourSeptember 11, 2005Schwartz Cooper is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation’s 17th Annual Boulevard Lakefront Tour, which will take place on Sunday morning, September 11, 2005. The firm will also host a picnic on the Midway at the University of Chicago after the ride for Schwartz Cooper clients, guests and their families. The Boulevard Lakefront Tour provides options of a 10, 35 or 62 mile bicycle ride through the city's "emerald necklace" — the parks, boulevards and historic places on the South and West Sides. The highlights include:
Approximately 2,000 to 3,000 riders are expected to participate. A written guide to the architectural and historical highlights along the route will be distributed to all registered riders. The BLT is not a race and there are plenty of well-supplied rest stops. The ride is well within the ability of families with children, and many do participate.
