Construction Law and Claims: The Fundamentals

Michelle Kantor, head of Schwartz Cooper's Construction Law practice, will be speaking to BOMA members on November 1, 2007 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. The seminar will take place at 1 N. Franklin in the Third Floor Conference Center.

This seminar will provide a fundamental understanding of construction law and tips to avoid construction claims. Ms. Kantor will discuss rights, risks and responsibilities of the owner, design professional and contractor. There also will be an overview of common construction claims and change orders, along with tips to help minimize these calims.
